Dutch Audio Event

The Dutch Audio Event in Veldhoven is the current form of a Dutch show tradition that began in 2010 with the X-fi Audio Show. As the event grew, the organizers partnered with HIFI.NL and developed the broader Dutch Audio Event identity. The first edition under the DAE name was planned for 2020 but could not take place; the new format finally launched in 2021. This history explains why the event can be both relatively young by name and already experienced in organization.

DAE has become one of the main hi-fi gatherings in the Benelux region, combining international manufacturers with Dutch and Belgian distributors, dealers and brands. The venue offers many dedicated rooms for proper system demonstrations, while lectures, workshops and music-related activities add context beyond simple product display. Its tone is deliberately open and practical, with systems ranging from attainable hi-fi to ambitious high-end installations, making the show useful both to experienced audiophiles and to visitors who are only.
