HIGH END Vienna

HIGH END is one of the defining exhibitions of the modern high-end audio industry. Its history began in 1982 with a small hotel show at the Kempinski in Frankfurt, an event that also helped inspire the formation of the HIGH END SOCIETY. The show remained in Frankfurt through 2003, moved to Munich’s MOC in 2004 and spent more than two decades there, growing into the industry’s leading international meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, press, dealers and serious listeners.

In 2026 the event entered a new chapter by moving to the Austria Center Vienna. The city’s musical heritage gives the show a fitting cultural setting, but the underlying role remains the same: major product launches, reference-level demonstrations, business meetings and public listening under one roof. HIGH END is unusual because it operates simultaneously as a trade fair and an enthusiast event. Its influence extends far beyond the four show days, with announcements and technologies introduced there often shaping the global.
