Oslo HiFi Show

Oslo HiFi Show is a young Norwegian event that has grown quickly into the country’s largest dedicated hi-fi exhibition. The first edition was held in 2023, and the organizers describe the 2027 event as the fifth edition, confirming the show’s recent origin. Based at Thon Hotel Oslofjord, it was created to give Norway a regular national meeting point for serious audio after years without a large-scale show of comparable scope.

The exhibition covers a wide range of price levels, from accessible systems to costly reference equipment, with national and international exhibitors using hotel rooms and dedicated spaces for demonstrations. That breadth is important in Norway, where a strong interest in design, technology and music has long supported specialist retailers but has not always been matched by large public events. The show’s rapid growth in attendance and exhibitor participation suggests that it filled a genuine gap. Its role is now both commercial and cultural: a place to compare products, meet.
