Shanghai International Audio & Video Show, commonly known as SIAV, was founded in 1993 and is one of mainland China’s longest-running high-end audio exhibitions. Organized in central Shanghai, it developed over more than three decades into a broad industry event covering hi-fi, home cinema, records and digital products. Its longevity is significant because it spans the period in which China changed from a relatively small specialist market into one of the most important manufacturing and consumer markets in global audio.
