The Headphone Show

WORLD OF HEADPHONES is the specialist headphone exhibition created by the HIGH END SOCIETY. It premiered as a dedicated area at HIGH END Munich in 2022 and quickly proved popular enough to expand into standalone events in cities including Heidelberg and Essen. The Heidelberg edition takes the concept out of the giant international hi-fi show and places it in a more focused environment where personal audio can be compared directly and at leisure.

The format covers the full modern headphone ecosystem: wired and wireless models, in-ear monitors, portable players, DACs, headphone amplifiers and accessories. Listening tables are central to the experience, because visitors can try many products side by side rather than relying on specifications or reviews. The event also attracts specialist retailers and distributors, creating direct contact between consumers and people who work with the products every day. Its rapid growth reflects the wider transformation of headphones from a secondary hi-fi category into one.
